Church of Satan on Tim Tebow Success: No Divine Intervention Required!

God is most definitely NOT a Broncos fan and is NOT helping Tim Tebow engineer fourth quarter comebacks for Denver, according to a rep for The Church of Satan.

Magus Peter H. Gilmore, a high priest in the Church, says if God helps Tim win games, He would be actively making others lose, which makes absolutely no sense.

That being said, the Satanists acknowledge that the extremely religious quarterback may benefit from his faith, which he demonstrates often, in less overt ways.

"Those who have a winning attitude tend to do better," Gilmore concedes.

"Whatever fuels that kind of team spirit, be it religious fervor or simply an overwhelming desire to succeed, that is the real source for success."

Now 6-1 as an NFL starter, the 24-year-old sure has that going for him.

On the flip side, they refute any notion that God is helping the Broncos win: "Satanists are atheists, and we consider any triumph to rely on a combination of skill and luck - most certainly not in any form of supernatural intervention from either Heaven or Hell."

Your take: Is God a Broncos fan?
